General Airport Information
Where is the airport?
Southwest Florida International Airport is located southeast of the City of Fort Myers, roughly three miles west of I-75 (exit 131 southbound, exit 128 northbound) and south off Treeline Ave. For a map and driving directions, click here. What identification is required to clear security?
Passengers age 18 and older must present photo identification, such as a passport, driver's license or military ID issued by a local, state or federal government agency. For international flights, valid passports, visas or other documentation may be required. Passengers without proper identification may be denied boarding. For more information, call the TSA Contact Center toll free at (866) 289-9673 during the following hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You may also e-mail TSA-ContactCenter@dhs.gov.
Can non-ticketed passengers go to the airline gates?
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations allow only passengers with tickets through security clearance areas and into the concourses. If you are assisting or meeting a child traveling alone, a person with a disability or someone else who needs your help, please contact your airline.
How many carry-on items are allowed?

Which airlines serve the airport?
Over twenty airlines provide nonstop service between Southwest Florida International Airport and 35 U.S. airports, as well as Germany (Düsseldorf) and Canada (Toronto), with convenient connecting service to destinations worldwide. Where can I smoke inside the airport?
Are pets allowed inside the terminal?
Animals (excluding service or law enforcement) are prohibited inside the terminal unless they are carried in approved travel containers. If you would like to walk your dog, there is a grassy area near the gazebo on the baggage claim level of the terminal, which is at the left end of the building as you exit. Please remember to clean up after your pets.
Which airline lounges/clubs are located at the airport?
There are no airline lounges or clubs at Southwest Florida International Airport.
Does the airport have a duty-free shop?
Where can I find business services, such as shipping, internet kiosks, fax machine, copier, exchanging currencies or transferring money?
Our Business Center, located on the main terminal level (2nd floor) near Concourse B, provides a variety of useful services for the business traveler. There, you may purchase travelers checks, phone cards, travel insurance, money transfers, and money orders. In addition, you may exchange hundreds of currencies, hire a notary, make copies, send a fax, or check e-mail at the internet kiosks. U.S. mail and FedEx drop-offs are also located at the Business Center; however, there are no shipping or postage services offered.
The Business Center is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Where can I find an ATM?

Where can I connect to the internet?
Is there a place to store bags or other items?
No, current security procedures prohibit lockers or item storage in the airport terminal. All items must remain with their owner.
How can I page someone inside the terminal?
If you are inside the terminal, you may locate a courtesy phone and simply pick it up. You will be connected to someone who will accommodate your request. If you are outside the terminal or prefer to use your cell phone, you may call (239) 590-4810.
How do I request a wheelchair or other assistance for an elderly or disabled passenger or for a child traveling alone?
Lost and Found
Who do I contact regarding lost items?
If you lost your baggage or an item on the aircraft, please contact your airline. Click here for a list of airline phone numbers and Web sites.
If you lost your item at the security checkpoint, please contact the TSA by e-mailing TellTSARSW@dhs.gov or calling (239) 210-6419.
If you lost your item elsewhere in the terminal, please contact the Lee County Port Authority by e-mailing lost@flylcpa.com or calling (239) 590-4810.
Flight Information
How can I check on the status of a flight?
Flight Information Display Systems are located throughout the terminal and provide information about flight arrivals, departures, gates and baggage claim carousels. The same information is available in real time on the airport's Web site (click here). Please note, it is highly recommended that you contact the airline directly for the most current flight status information.
Parking Information
What are the parking options at RSW?
The airport offers two parking options: the short-term lot, where the first 20 minutes of parking is free, and the long-term lot, which utilizes shuttle service to and from the terminal. For parking fees and a locator map, click here. The curb is not a parking option- vehicles left unattended at the terminal curb will be towed!
Cell Phone Lot
Is there a cell phone lot?
Yes. Follow Terminal Access road inbound from Treeline Ave. and turn right at the first traffic light. For a map, click here. Have your party call you after they have retrieved their luggage, and you may pick them up at lower level curbside. Please note, the cell phone lot is not equipped with restroom facilities and is intended to be used only for brief periods of time.
Lodging and Tourism Information
Where can I find a hotel nearby?
The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau can provide you with information for many local lodging options. Whether you'd like to stay near the airport or stay on one of our sunny beaches, they can point you in the right direction. Click here to get started!
Additionally, you may find hotel courtesy phones in the baggage claim level of the terminal. Many offer shuttle service, as well. Just select your preferred hotel and you will connect instantly.
